Automotive Technician Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma / G.E.D.
- Formal Training: On-the-job and Technical Training Classes
- Experience: 2+ Years
- Advanced knowledge of Automotive Systems
Automotive Technician Expectations:
- Diagnose/Repair customer vehicle concerns
- Perform preventative maintenance and other types of services
- Complete multi-point inspections with video
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors / Parts Professionals
- Consistently participating in monthly meetings / advanced training opportunities
- Maintain a clean, professional work area
- Achieve ASE certifications
- Proper attendance and punctuality are required
Express Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma / G.E.D.
- Formal Training: Completion of vocational school education or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems
- Ability to demonstrate mechanical skills
- Consistently participate in monthly meetings/career advancement opportunities
Express Maintenance Technician Expectations:
- Perform preventative maintenance and other types of services.
- Complete multi-point inspections with video.
- Perform tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, multi-point inspections, tire repairs/replacements.
- Proper attendance and punctuality required.
